Title: What is it?
Post by: n74tg on July 05, 2008, 08:00:34 PM
At a home construction project I saw this.  Anybody know what it is?  As they have been doing some wiring I think it is maybe a wire roll holder that will spool off wire as you pull it thru holes in the studs.  Any other ideas?

You were right, its a wire unspooler.  Wire unrolled on one of these will have a lot less twists in it than if you pulled it out the center of the reel as the packaging typically suggests.

Glenn, tetherball is a vicious enough sport as it is. I don't think we need to increase the barbarism by replacing the ball with 4 humans.

Hit em hard - they really go around fast -- especially that final few wraps.

Yup -- that's nearly enough to send the ol' loin cloth flying across the field. [crz]
