i have read this lady's exploits about building her own home and i must say that i was most impressed buy her determination and ability to learn what was necessary to get the job done. an inspiration to me for my future project.

Dorthy Ainsworth must be quite a gal. She built one of the vertical log cabins some time back. I let my Backwoods Home subscription lapse a while back when I was trimming back to necessities. Lots of good information in the magazine but a lot of it I didn't use since I am not a cook or a canner. Gardening in the desert is almost impossible. My poor well would never shut off.
