Despite being sued at every opportunity, some Virginia Cops still don't get it.

I would guess there is more to the story. Most police I have met and known have ego "issues", my bet is this guy ran off his mouth and got some policing for his trouble. Yes, they will likely get sued over it, the taxpayer will foot the bill and the cop will get his wrist slapped.
Why would hollow points be illegal? It's not like your shooting someone to make friends with them...
Hmmm, interesting story... "public servants?" ???

I don't think he caused this muldoon. Certain PD's have decided they won't abide by the law. Fairfax got slammed a while back and had behaved until this. We have been suing the officer personally as well as the locality. If the locality does not condone the officers actions, they get off and the officer ends up paying for the better part of his life.
Works pretty well!
Same old story. If you have a gun you must be a criminal. Cops fear those with the ability to fight back.
