Title: what did you get for fathers day?

I know its a few days late but I just got back today.  I went on vacation this week with the family, have not done one since 1999.  Smallish trip, a few cities, some science, nature and historic stops and a few water parks to help cool off.  Great trip, got to see and share alot of Texas with my family.  It was my fathers day present.

The best part about coming home from summer vacation is the awesome-ness of seeing the cherry tomatoe bushes full of the little red candies that were not there 7 days ago.

With MIL coming in for her 2-month visit last week and a new baby, I had no choice but to give DH a $75 gift card I already had for Home Depot.  The church gave it to me as a thank you for the years I headed up the childrens' church program while we lived in Wisconsin.  I told him to put it toward a finishing nail gun.   ???
