Well, let me say it get real HOT there in the summer. [need a sweaty smiley]

There is actually a lot of similar appearing land available for sale in the general area. Maybe that why they're giving it away.  ;D

That isn't even a acre? Not much to build a cabin on. I am spoiled even 40 acres is to small now. It would be like living in the city and you could hear your neibors tolet flush! The land I just built the cabin on is 13.32 acres and that is realy to small but can work. Your supposed to get tired walking accross your place, not be able to do it in less time than it takes to light let alone smoke a cigerette. Mark

Yeah, I have 4 acres that feel like 40 because no one can get close (1/4 mile private road, no one can build behind us because we're at the end of the private road, creek with 150 foot gorge on one side (we own part of the cliff across the gorge), 200 foot rise to road above on the other).

But--it's free!!!!  Heck, we could go camp there when we get sick of the rain in Washington.

Anyway, the contest is over and I haven't heard yet.  Doubtlessly bad news.
