Hello, First time posting. Very interesting forum you all have here...
My brother was injured a few years ago and uses a wheelchair. I want to build a small cabin / bedroom for him since my bedrooms are upstairs and am looking for ideas. I am thinking something with a slant roof with a queen bed on one end, a small wood stove on the other and maybe a couple of small chairs around the stove. The spot is pretty nice so lots of windows would be cool. Maybe a small deck out front too?
I have searched and searched for plans but have not been able to find any. My buddy can build but he wants it drawn out.
Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I think the Enchilada Plans Kit would have something you could use. John made it to be expandable, built a part at a time and likely you could build the shed roof portion (sunroom) to fit your needs with slight adaptations.

Thanks! I am trying to send picture of my house but seems I have exceeded file size?
Does that have a peak roof?
BTW I dont mind paying for plans...
I like this one but without the bathroom and only one alcove (?).... And bigger eaves.

Thanks!
I also found this one. http://materialicio.us/2007/11/19/clara-cabin-bryan-meyer-and-anne-ryan/
A combination of the two looks pretty good.
Actually you didn't exceed the file size. There just isn't space provided here to host the pictures so they have to be hosted at Photobucket. It's free and the pictures appear here when you put the link to them at the bottom of the picture in Photobucket. IMG tag on it.

Glenn , or others , wasn't one of the 200 square foot houses designed with accessibility in mind ?
The one I think I remember was shed roof design , maybe it could be expanded to meet this need , maybe?
Possible, PEG. Here's a link I think. [idea]
