Hi. I've been a lurking member for a long time and too bashful to say anything, not that I have much to contribute to building. I know more or less what I want and have found some land I like and want. I've made an offer and am waiting to see how that goes.
Just thought I'd drop by since I've been sitting here bored with this slow connection.
w* to the forum. Don't be shy, jump in and comment or ask questions. Nobody here bites... well maybe one or two, but they've had their shots. ::)
Where are you buying?
Thanks. :)
I'm buying some land in New Mexico. Or I'm hoping the deal goes through. It's been in the works since last fall but the snow in December put a hold on things. It's in the Jemez where I see you are from. Took forever to find something I wanted. Most everything available was too civilized for me.
I've lived in Los Alamos for several years although I'm not there right now.
welcome to the forum carla,
I am still new here as well but a long time lurker before joining. I have driven through NM a few times on the way between Texas and Colorado, I am not familiar with Jemez though. Anyway good luck with your land deal and building projects. I know it's just a bit scary at first, but it's also quite awesome to follow a dream.
w* Carla. I don't know if we can handle two people on the board from the same place. Mt.Don and you. Better watch out he will have a hammer in your hand if you are handy when he starts on his cabin.
Again w*
Welcome to the forum, Carla. Don't be scared. :)
As Don said, we don't bite. A few of us have been known to nibble a little though. [crz]
A hammer in my hand might be a dangerous thing. :D It might be MountainDon should be the one on the lookout. ;)
Nibblers? I have a tough skin and can nibble right back.
w* they're all talk & no bite ;D keep us posted on your land & there's lots of places to talk here on the forum... I don't have much to add to the building part - I let Glenn do that, but I tend to be pretty vocal on the off-topics c*
Sounds like fun, Carla and you lurk too. Can't beat that. :)
