An unusual story from the Salt Lake Tribune.

In short; a game officer found two elk with antlers locked, one dead. They sawed the surviving elk free. He stood around for a few pictures, then took off. Picture shows one of the sawn off antlers still stuck.

That must have been quite a fight.
I've seen the same thing with Whitetail here....They sometimes fight until one breaks it's neck and the other will die of starvation.
