My preference is HDG but Home Depot seems to only stock and sell electrogalvies in the 1 1/4" roofing nails. How much effort should I put into getting HDG roofing nails? This is for a roof on the Oregon coast.

I can't recall when I last saw a hot dipped roofing nail. Everything I see are elctrogalvanized. Unless you're nailing into PT lumber I don't think it should become a problem. :-\
