Title: I have a cold.
Post by: StinkerBell on November 12, 2007, 08:05:41 PM
I worked 10 years in an ER as a HUC. After year two I stopped receiving the yearly flu shot. I quit my job in June this year (burned out, 10 years of graveyard, one week on one week off).Only called in sick once, ONCE, missed only one day.  I am home nice and safe and one of those ROTTEN teenagers of mine gave me this awful head cold.

That's no fun  :(   It is amazing how a person can work around sick people at the hospital & seldom get sick, but get around a family member  :'(

Hey Stink, hope you're feeling better soon... I think there is a lot of that going around right now.  Yesterday and today both I've been all sneezy and snotty and hope I'm not coming down with something like that too.  Drink some hot tea and have a little chicken noodle soup and feel better soon. :)

Ladies, puleeez, I'm trying to eat here. :o

...just kidding--

My wife is a nurse and she always tries to gross me out.

Get well soon, Stink and Homegroan. :) ;D

I'm getting like PEG -- sometimes I'm just too funny, or man I crack me up sometimes. ;D

Gross, Glenn... sorry, but the visual aid isn't helping.  I'm feeling better though still frustrated over waiting to find out if we're moving or not... think the stress may be partly to blame for feeling sick.  Try not to think about it too much, but think it still has somewhat of a subconscious effect... namely the dread of winter coming upon us. :P

I hope you get to move, Homegrown.  I'd hate to do a winter in Wisconsin or any other freezy place.

I enjoyed about 19 years ago a play called "Into The Woods". I notice that last month it reopened here in Seattle.

Very funny stuff, I discovered that  Prince Charming is Charming, but he is not faithful......

Then, he'd probably also have enjoyed Snow White. :)
