So it's the Forum Software/Design Host etc...  Sometimes I should keep my lips  :-X  until after I do research!

...and a pretty good group -- set up pretty well so I can keep the nasty spammers away. :)

I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be the problem with forum spam that there is on a lot of forums...

gosh, my hands are so cold I had to retype that line two or three times to get it all right... time to hit the hay.

I'm on them like flies on ....    I mean , I research nearly every new member to see if they are possibly spammers - If they post pharmacy -Viagra etc ads or porn I delete their membership and block their e-mail and name.

Congrats on your good behavior, Homegrown. ;D  Better find a hand warmer for those cold pinkies.  It is still 69.4F outside right now here.

Worst we had was a guy named Donald from Asia.  Kept posting nude pix of himself and his oversized thing.  (Done in Photoshop obviously).  I searched the YABB forums and other forums and found that he was bothering all of them.  Soon I had all of his e-mail addresses blocked and we had no more problem.

That is why it is necessary to register to comment even though the forum is free.  When members are registered I have the ability to block them permanently if they mis-behave. :)

Plain bad attitude or rude I just run off if they don't want to be nice.  Actually we had one that was rude and so many members jumped his case he removed himself and never came back.

We want this to be a nice place where no one is intimidated so all have the opportunity to learn and share knowledge.  At the same time I try not to censor excessively either so as not to stifle expression.  I try to keep it to a PG or so rating. :)
