Title: The sawmills are starting to deliver now
Post by: peter nap on October 11, 2007, 04:59:45 PM
Got the 5 quarter X 6" rough sawed oak for the siding today.

I will get the kiln dried 2X4's for the Girds and Perlins next week.

I've already taken the longest 6X6 and 6X8's down there. I took them on a makeshift ladder rack for my truck and thankfully didn't get a ticket. It's just impossible to haul a 30' 6X8 without it sticking out everywhere. ;D

What? $30 bucks to deliver? Heck I'll haul it myself! Yesterday I couldn't even spell truck driver and today I are one.
I have seen that picture somewhere before. I think I got it in an e-mail once from one of my brothers.

If he does that to save a few bucks on delivery, I wonder what his building skills are like?
