This is Hill End, a goldrush town in NSW near Bathurst,  one of the most fascinating towns in Australia, an area we visit often- but not in Winter.
In the foreground is a former blacksmiths shop.

Nice pix Pete.  Is that a church in the background with buttresses?  We have one in an old gold town that looks similar but they "restored" it with modern materials so I didn't want to take a pix of it.
