Pretty interesting concept. I read it in my paper copy of the magazine, but it's available free online.

This site has interesting concepts also.  I first read Bo Atkinsons ideas and saw his work several years ago.  I made my thin shell concrete mushroom on the front porch from his information and Ken Kerns writings.

Amanda posted a link to some of his other work in another section of the forum.

I finally found Bo's page for the whole house concept I read a long time ago.

My first reaction was "I did??"

then came

Oh, that guy.  And that's how those weird shapes came into being.  Not fantasy, just slack-wired robots.

That and concrete mushrooms.
