Title: Voltage Drop Calculators, good 4 solar, etc
Post by: MountainDon on January 15, 2007, 07:29:10 PM
For those who are considering solar power, or other alternative power generation. I find these more useful than using the charts that are available on many alternative power websites. They're all similar in concept, seem to work with about the same accuracy, and so on. I've listed them in more or less of my favorites (descending order).  :)

There's also an excellent downloadable tool to be found at http://www.edreference.com/  It's a free download that works for 30 days unless you buy the key ($188).   :o  It works nicely though. It does more than calculate the simple voltage drop; more than I need to know.

As for the others I have saved a couple of them as webpages to my hard drive and they will run (calculate) when off line.  8-)
