Title: 3DHA - Door bottom appear high in plan view
Post by: youngins on January 13, 2007, 09:44:35 PM
Hello,

Does it appear there is a gap between the bottom of the door and the bottom of the building?

Is there a fix?

The door properties are:
Style: Default
Type: hinged
width: 24
heigth: 54
Thick: 1 3/4
Trim: 3 1/2 (D)

Chris

that is a reflection of the thickness of the floor.  I played around with floor height, etc but I could not figure out a way to change that, other than turning off viewing the floor and ceiling in the 3d view.  (Options, Show Items, Floors & Ceilings in ver. 3)

The best way to adjust this accurately is to build your foundation, in which case that will show as well. Then build ground cover panels and snug them up to the foundation. You set the foundation by adjusting its "Height above floor" to a negative number of inches below the top of the interior floor. You can set one panel, adjust its height and color, and then copy and paste around the house.
