Anyone in a wildfire prone area may be interested in this system. It uses the same type of foam as the waterbombers do, less the red coloring agent.

That seems to be a neat product. I believe the key is in the perimeter clearing.

Around here they are now recommending a 300' break. We watched a fire on the neighboring mountain start at the bottom and go to the top in a matter of 3 hours. Summer time we are dry and fires move fast but the airport is line of site about 2 miles and I clear fire breaks for us and the neighbors with my Bobcat at the start of fire season.
