Hi
we are trying to find a one and a half story house plan approx. 22 wide by 36 to 38 long. with a bed and bath downstairs and a bed and bath upstairs. I thought it would be easy to find a plan like this but its not.

Many times you have to modify other plans to get what you want. John's plans are easy to modify.
The hard thing to do is to change width. That changes loads on footings etc. Length is usually easy. John has 20' wide plans and The Expandable Saltbox House (http://www.countryplans.com/whid_hs.htm) which is 24' with the option to add on.
