I have been busy working.
What has been going on? Anything new and exciting or just the same old exciting stuff?
Hi Stinkerbell -- thought maybe you died and went to heaven :) -- So hows the project going?
We're still here - lots of stuff happening although a bit slow lately.
For many folks thoughts of building slow down in the Fall and don't pick up in earnest until after the new year.
This is a good time for making plans and sketching out ideas while you sit by the fire. :D
My new fire!

Nice.
Of course in my part of the country, October is our driest month (even though 6 weeks without rain is pretty common in the summer), so a lot of people really are trying to get something dried in so they can finish it up over the winter.
October's also usually warmer than it's been this year.
And no ticks.
I had been wondering what had happened to Stinkerbell.
Nice little stove there, John -- better than watching TV and more educational. :)
John,
That fireplace is the type that has two doors that open up so it feels like a fireplace?
I have been working.... :P
No time for play :(
complain complain complain.....moan moan moan.....ok I am over it now!
;D
There you go again, Stinkerbell, but, working that hard, I guess we'll put up with it. You deserve it.
Don't be a stranger. :)
Yes, the doors on the stove open. It is a fine looking stove but seems a bit air starved. I need to burn with the doors ajar most of the time. Except for that and the fact that the glass in the doors is a pain to keep clean it would be perfect. 8-)
It can be loaded from the top when stoking for the night. It is supposed to hold a fire overnight. Hasn't been cold enough to test that yet.

Is it the type with a catalytic conveter?
