One of the authors has another book that I know nothing about. We'll see.
If I'm not mistaken, Shay Saloman is one of the founders of Women Build Houses which teaches women building skills, mostly in AZ and NM. Here's a link to an article by her:

Janet Luhrs wrote the foreward for this new book. She authored the Simple Living Guide, which is a pretty good book for those looking to downsize, spend less, organize, etc.

That makes it a lot more likely that it will be out of the standard range of books that ought to be titled (as Abbie Hoffman's--not quite on that subject--was) Steal This Book.
Although it does strike me that serious pack-rats who want to simplify their lives have try on four or five different authors before they find one whose style they (we) can appreciate.
