Title: For those who like to play in the mud
Post by: jwv on July 14, 2006, 09:54:01 AM
I've been looking for information about Tadelakt a Moroccan waterproof lime plaster for use in baths, showers etc and found these beautiful pictures.  And these guys make it look soooo easy.

Hmmm.  I'd never heard of that before.

Mildly suprising, since "cob bathtubs" have been a goal for a lot of the cob people.

Doesn't look like he sells the materials, with or without training.  There is training for people wanting to use the AAC--lightweight concrete.

Neat stuff!

Here's a link to one outfit that sells the stuff.

I'd like to study it more, but I think I'll have enough going with building the cottage first.  [smiley=smiley.gif]
