Title: 16x24 plans

Got our plans and were ready to build on a beautiful view in east Tennessee!! Cant understand tho why our pictures wont upload?? Anyway, it's been 3 years since we bought the property and we've cleared, had septic, power and water and now we ready ;D

Hi Locomoe. The countryplans.com forum does not allow picture file uploads directly. However you can upload them elsewhere, to a file sharing service like Imgur or Google Photos, and link to them, and they will show up in your message.

The format is: [ img ] http://<yourimagehostingservice.com>/imagename.jpg [ /img ]

Remove the spaces and the < > 's. 

You can accomplish the same by clicking the insert image button above (when you are composing your message), in the second row of icons, 3rd in the row.  Again, you need to link to an externally hosted image.

Here is a more complete guide - it mentions Photobucket, but you can use any image hosting service:

I have accounts with both hosting services and find that Imgur is much more useful for my needs.  One nice feature is that Imgur makes the URL easily available in the image viewing screen.

Take a look here:

If you click on the button under the BBCode heading, it will copy the needed text into the clipboard.  Then if you paste that text into your forum posting it will appear like this:
[img]http://i.imgur.com/hpk3ZaP.jpg[/img]

When you preview your forum post you should see something like this:

great thanks! after our monsoon weather the last two weeks we think we can finally get started! our house has a contract on it so we can take that and run with it!
