A (fancy--if occasionally affordable) mail-order furniture place, along with treehugger, is having a contest in which people are photographing their small apartments/places. One gal has a dog and a handful of parrots, although as far as I've seen, there's a lot of cleaned up and minimalist places there. Comments are posted.
kind of fun to browse.

Nicely done site and clever contest. Unfortunately I couldn't get any of the links to the apartments to produce anything but blank screens (tried three different browsers).
I got one but am on dial up so not looking at many pix. Darned old work messing me up again. :(
I got it to work here at work through our firewall and network settings.
Interesting... tonight I am able to get the apartment pages to load. But they only stay on for a split second and then back to a white screen (that says done on the loading). I can hit F5 (refresh) and get it to flash again but it won't stick.
Weird :-?
Opps! It's a IE problem :). I just copied the URL into Firefox and it works fine (didn't yesterday however).
I didn't have any problem at all with IE just now. Al though things are loading like molasses in January because I'm also downloading a program update.
(it's a West Coast thing??)
Must be a west coast thing, I was on IE at work...
East Coast in the hizzouse!
Let's see now--
Pacific Northwest is the home of Microsoft.
We've been hearing that the various divisions of Microsoft are quarreling.
Therefore John's IE problem must be the product of inter-division warfare at Microsoft.
It's only logical.
::)
;D
Looks like my close friend and neighbor Bill Gates :D must have solved the problem.
Clicking on the apartment links works fine this morning on both IE and Maxthon (an IE build-out) browsers.
Thanks Bill for taking care of that last nigh while I slept. ;)
BTW - there are some very good small house design and decorating ideas in this contest.
