I attempted framing out my garage door ro today, grabbed a lvl, cut it to length.
Got everything layed out and measured the lvl height.......
It is supposed to be a 11 7/8 x 1 3/4, the height measures 12 1/4, then about 8 inches over 11 7/8.......
Another one I have measures 12 inches to 11 7/8 in the middle an back to 12 inches on the other end.
The 3rd one measures 12 inches to 12 1/4........
How do you use theses?

They came from boise....
Wow, sounds like their saw went south. The dimensions are normally good. You can switch them out for new ones, they can also be ripped or power planed.
Sounds like maybe somewhere east of Boise? :)
Thanks Don, im going to try to get them traded out. These ones are pretty bad....its not the only material problem I have from this place, my 4x9 plywood (50 sheets) are 4x8...... ive had it for over a week and didnt notice. Both items were order items.
