Found these old photographs which are in the Library of Congress/Farm Security Administration. Some can only be seen in a larger format at the Library of Congress but there is a catagory which contain larger images which can be viewed or downloaded on the home page @ Larger image available anywhere.

Gary I later found out that you can search the photo's by State. WV only had about 27 pages. Yep I glanced at them all but couldn't find anything closer than about 50 miles away. Surprising to me that there was a lot of Mexican Coal Miners a long way from home. ;D
