Title: Cool Old Photographs
Post by: Redoverfarm on December 29, 2013, 12:44:40 PM
Found these old photographs which are in the Library of Congress/Farm Security Administration.  Some can only be seen in a larger format at the Library of Congress but there is a catagory which contain larger images which can be viewed or downloaded on the home page @ Larger image available anywhere.

Gary I later found out that you can search the photo's by State.  WV only had about 27 pages.  Yep I glanced at them all but couldn't find anything closer than about 50 miles away.  Surprising to me that there was a lot of Mexican Coal Miners a long way from home.   ;D

Dang. I didn't know grapes of wrath dust bowlers got so far north as Klamath county.
Wonder what they did, sift pumice?
