Prefer my Mac and Cheese with a good dose of ketchup, salt, and pepper. And about a medium slump. ?

I used to love mac n cheese with hot dogs cut up and mixed in. It used to be a staple food for me. Then I discovered I had sensitivities to both wheat and dairy. Now I don;t do those foods and feel better.

Hope I didn't dash the topic.

During the summer when we were out of school, our lunch meals, prepared by my sister, were usually mac and cheese with chicken/beef pot pies!
I would say that mac and cheese is almost as American as apple pie.
