Title: Obama Day Shopping
Post by: peternap on December 19, 2012, 07:45:32 PM
I'm pretty certain high cap mags are first on the radar and certain guns next.

I bought a Glock 17 today as an investment. It's a 9mm which I hate but offers the highest capacity.
I also bought 8 Glock 33 round magazines.

Then I saw this and it called my name. I think I'll keep it.

I have 2 rifles. However for the last 3 months we as a family have been taking Arcerhy lessons. My thoughts are that if I shoot my bow, well I would not give out my position to others. Deadly yet still does not give me away. Plus it's fun. I have no issue with having guns at all.  Just trying to think ahead.

I'm thinking crossbow, for the same reason. As a machinist, a crossbow is easy to make from ordinary materials, as are the ammo (bolts). While a gun is easy to make, ammo may become scarce if current trends continue.

Crossbows are silent and the drywall's easier to patch after used on a home intruder.  AnnaMarie can't load it, a mixed blessing
