Title: Best trout fishing in Okanogan or Ferry county?
Post by: OlJarhead on July 18, 2012, 06:28:21 PM
OK forumites, who does a little trout fishing?  I'm looking for a lake (Crawfish is on the list already) to try my luck at some rainbows (or any other trout for that matter)....I've decided it's time to crack a cold one and see what's biting...

So, who knows of a good lake that isn't too crowded where the fishing is pretty good in that area?

And don't worry, it's not like I do a lot of fishing anymore (it's been 3 or 4 years since last I fear)...

Friends who live over near my cabin have been catching daily limits of rainbows in Lake Curlew for the past two months.  Still biting, as far as I know.  I've seen many pics on fb of their catches, up to 17" in size.  These fish are raised in a penned area of the lake by F & W, then released before the season.
