Title: 28x36 in Moclips WA
Post by: Medeek on June 04, 2012, 01:42:47 PM
Working on putting up a Cabin in Moclips, land/house deal in Stanwood fell through.

I've layed out the floor plan of the cabin (floor 1).  Really don't know about the Mechanical Room in the corner though, any thoughts?

A four foot wide exterior door (double door actually) will give good access unless:
1.  It doesn't meet local codes; it does around here mostly.
2.  You are in a snowy elevation where winter makes it a pain to get to.

I think you have hit on the solution, don't know why I didn't see it.

Take part of the mechanical room and turn it into a closet for the small bathroom and then an external door to the mechanical room, makes perfect sense.

Anyone see a problem with this?  Code violation or otherwise?
