Title: International Guests or Members
Post by: glenn-k on February 08, 2006, 04:57:14 PM
We have a lot of visitors from other countries viewing our projects.

This is an invitation for guests or new members from countries besides the USA to please tell us of your projects or building methods and how they differ or are similar to ours.  We'd love to have you sign up for free membership - but if not just sign in as a guest -tell us where you are from and your building comments or stories.  New USA members are of course welcome anytime also.

We look forward to hearing from you - please say hi- even if English is not your first language.

Some people here in Texas think we are our own country!

I think your leader stepped over to the next country -- would you mind showing him the way back to his throne. ;D  Careful with him -- rumor has it that he may be inebriated.

Irreverant --- me?????? :-/

Hey, Deanna- that makes you international - how about interesting Aussie building pix - Anything old or vernacular?

Indigenous etc.

While you are down there check out Kath and Kim - Jonesy got me hooked on them.  Comedy that you don't have to pretend is funny.

Then after you get  back -a bit of rest-- then you can get after the other pix. :)

I actually 'see' the Victoria, John's little house, and the expanded version everywhere ...same for Jamaica. The building materials both here and in Jamaica are brick/block/stone or vairations there of...sigh don't see that in CA...more like the midwest. There are several very small older homes nearbye I love, want to go and take some pics of. Victorian influence (English perhaps?) with turrets and metal (cast-iron?) filligree trim around the porches...

Glenn, I thought you were a foreigner being from the 'Peoples Republic of California'! Don't you have to have a passport to enter or exit your beautiful country?
Course most of us just call it 'Granola' land as in land of the 'fruits, flakes and nuts'!
(Sorry Glenn, just couldn't resist!)

Actually I am a  sovereign nation surrounded by the peoples republic. I think. :)

A little heavy on the nuts around here too, BoB. :-/

Hey Jimmy, I'm a native Texan too!  (was only there 2 weeks...) I don't necessarily claim all those in power as fellow citizens but I won't get started on that... ::)
