Title: Allergies... what works for you?
Post by: NM_Shooter on April 18, 2012, 08:31:02 AM
I'm getting hammered this year.

Normally, Allegra works well for me, but I must be getting desensitized to it.  May have to get back on nasonex too.

Any new meds that don't put you to sleep out there?

It's more or less normal for people to have any particular allergy relief become less effective after a year or so of use. Switch to a different formulation. My long term sublingual drops have finally done a pretty good job. My nose has run on and off but I've not had any of the itchy itchy eyes this year. Allergy "season" is quite bad here this year too.
