I stumbled across this video about people living off grid being targeted in Los Angeles County by "nuisance abatement teams". They are being forced to tear down thier homes and not allowed to live on thier own private land untill certain demands are met.

This was kicked around a little last year. Is this still going on? Or are these desert dwellers making any headway banding together? Several thought it was because the LA Basin has become such a cesspool, that this was the next place to move. I knew nothing about this at the time. I thought it was more just a control issue. After reading and seeing a few more of these clips. It is a land garb for sure. I think this is the new downtown LA. In short just pick up your trash and leave the area. We will give you a nickel on the dollar, just get out. Ya! Got'a love it, ya got'a love it! Neighbors complaining my __$$. This is a first them listening to anyone complain.
