This is an annual event for us. Now it feels more like Christmas.

Well done! How far are you from Williamsburg?
About 45 miles from the burb house or 100 from the farm
I came from the farm yesterday and it was a long day. My pancreatis kicked up the night before and I was up all night, then I left about 5:00 am. Took Advil all day and got home around midnight, then edited all 6 cameras, put the finished video together and made the net shortie.
Coffee really is one of the major food groups.
Peter: Drop by coffee is always on here and recognized as a major food group as well. Sorry to read about the pancreatis. Have you got wood yet?
Williamsburg is on my bucket list of places to visit. (If I ever get east of the Rocky Mountains again. Or out of Idaho for that matter.) Up until a couple years ago were all over. National and International.
[waiting] Recently we did a over nighter. Made it clear down to Ikea and visit to the Railroad Retirment Board in Salt Lake City. We came home through Nevada. You would thought we were on a major road trip.
Great video! Very well done [cool]
The fireworks I've seen in Calif are not that great... they do one firework at a time & there's always pauses in-between - guess they're trying to prolong the program... they do have a short finale where they do more than one at a time but disappointing compared to the ones I see on TV or the one you had in Williamsburg.
Rick, you sound like us. We used to travel all over, all the time, until we bought our property & started building our cabin. This year is probably the most I've done in years - driving to the Bay area to see Glenn when he was working there & the trip we took to Bodie last week. Oh, we do go up to Yosemite fairly often now :)
Thanks for posting, Peter! Sorry to hear that you are having bouts of pancreatitis... don't know how you did all of that. I've only had it once when my gallbadder acted up & I had to go for surgery... it is excruciatingly painful. The patients that used to come in w/that were miserable. Amazing that you were able to make such a great video & all the traveling, etc. Hope you are feeling better.

You want fireworks? Be in Louisville KY on April 21st, we have the largest annual pyrotechnics show in North America
You will get 30 solid minutes of stuff like this... and you can't even see the barge firing shells on the other side of the bridge in this picture
