I have noticed in the last several years that when I am working on something in a confined space upside down I get nausea. When I first noticed it I was working under the dash of my truck on a couple of occasions. Then when I was working in a confined crawlspace. Then today I was working in my parents attic near the eve putting in Rafter-r-mates getting ready to insulate. Seems like everytime my movement is restrict and I have to work on my back it occurs. Is there such a thing as Positional Vertigo Sickness? I never noticed this years ago but then again I take notice of more things as my age progresses. ???
Yes.... but not for me.
I had a friend who gets extreme vertigo if he tilts his head back and to the side in a specific way. It triggers a response that does not resolve quickly, and can make him pretty sick. I'm sorry I don't know how to get in touch with him though. Maybe some of the nurse folks on this board will know what this is called?
I've done it all my life John. I suspect it has something to do with sinus congestion and position.
I had a cyst in my sinus cavity at an early age and after it was removed I had/have a terrible amount of congestion. The on my back with my head slightly downhill is the worst.
