Sunday (11-13) is World Kindness Day. I didn't even know there was such a thing.
But I saw this little 2 min video... and it is disarmingly simple.

Here is more about the World Kindness Movement.

I find it amazing to discover the emotional power that can be contained in very small gestures. I'm so sorry it took me so long.
Thanks for posting something uplifting...and kind!

That was great! :D I think I missed that when it was originally aired in the 50's.
Neat story about the bells & great idea about world kindness, John!
Guess we kinda just had our own world kindness days a little early - the Humphrey Fellows left this afternoon. We had 2 special people stay in our home - Hugues from Haiti & Thang from Mynmar (Burma). Their group, the people from ISI who brought them to Mariposa & our little church family had a great time breaking bread together, seeing the beauty of Yosemite & they even took the time to tour our crazy underground cabin!
We have new family from around the world & have an open welcome to visit their homes whenever we get a chance :)
Tried to be nice to everyone today.
Got crapped on about half a dozen times.
Apparently they weren't aware of the post at Country Plans.
