Title: I'm in hot water now
Post by: peternap on October 13, 2011, 05:01:54 PM
I bought this the other day for the farm. I think it may work better than the one I'm using. It's a little better price than the Sportsmans Guide.

I added a dedicated pump for it so I can mix hot and cold without killing the flame in the unit. It's piped into the house.

Peter I have sort of got use to that temperature being in hot water so to speak.   ;)  I would have thought that you would have had a conventional HW heater there (Propane or electric).

I've tried several ways John. Presently I have a tank type propane. I don't have enough power for electric.
The problem with the tank is it takes a while to heat up, it's a pain to drain even using the electric valves and I've had nothing but trouble with the pilot light.
