This could get to be entertaining, as a well established member sent me a pet pic.
Try to guess the origin
the clue in the caption might be too obvious....

Well, seems nobody wishes to venture a guess, so gonna put ol' parashooter in the archives in a bit.
Thanks fer lookin'
And thanks to the member that sent it to me.
I love GSDs. Looks like one. I have to put the caveat that I love almost all dogs too. I haven't seen one around here before.

Yeah, me too. Most breeds. Had one that about cured me, but almost ready to find another good hound.
Yet another member entry.
Thanks UK.
Great pix.
I may be losing my touch, however, and may revisit these.
Here's what I got so far.

Lunch box definitely beats my checken the chickens !
the rabbit was shot dead before being retrieved- not live !
Got him from the upstairs office - and sent the dog down to the garden to get him- never actually thinking the hound would go get him and bring him back upstairs
the wife was not impressed
Well, that's just a good dog.
My last one woulda given it to the neighbors.
Still have PTSD from that black rug with eyes....
I do love a hound, but, even though loyal, are more the hunter than pet.
Had an acquaintance that bred bear dogs.
Kinda fascinating to see 'em work.
Back of the pickup, feet on the cab, down the loggin' road, bay, stop, run, tree, done.
Said the travesty was he didn't know if it would be a good bear dog until he had it fixed, so lineage gets a bit tricky and carefully planned.
Gonna get a lab or shepherd next.
Great pics. Thanks for the smile.
You got it Squirl.
I'm pretty much outta fresh pix, and member's pet photos are a wonderful challenge.
There's so many contrived animal pix on the web, and, well, they've just been overdone IMO.
UK's Weimar pix, and Shooter's Shepherd pic are fantastic in that regard.
I have a terrier pic from an acquaintance that I've been savin' til I get her permission, but it really has some great expression. Hope to post it soon.
Love the Hairborne! Very good stuff. :D
Can you do anything with one of these?

They've joined up during the season of the great pumpkin for many years now (2 to be exact).
Here's a clip of how they came to be............
Super Girl and the Wizard of Wandering the back yard felt they needed another member to help complete their quest to get an audience with the Great Pumpkin..............
