Title: Opening day of bow season
Post by: peternap on October 02, 2011, 05:54:36 PM
Finally!
It was a near perfect day and I saw one large doe, a very small doe, a medium size bear and three wood ducks.

The big doe is in the freezer and everything else went home peacefully. c*

Sweet!  Got any pictures?

My daughter's elk hunt is in less than a week.  She is stoked!

I wish we could use Crossbows!  Out here they aren't allowed for ANY hunting except the disabled.

Actually, I'd rather use a conventional compound. It's a major chore to get a crossbow to shoot broadheads.
I started using it when I hurt my back. After that, they made them legal for everyone.
