Title: Help me find a decent AM/FM Radio for my cabin
Post by: NM_Shooter on September 20, 2011, 08:26:50 AM
I'm looking for a decent AM/FM radio for my cabin.  My car radio in my F250 works pretty well on site, but my 4Runner radio (not the OEM radio) does not work well.

I was considering buying a car stereo, and mounting it in a cabinet, and running a cable to an antenna mounted on a standoff on the roof.  There's got to be something better out there, runs on a 12V system, and that doesn't cost $$$.

Any suggestions for a cabin in a challenging reception location?

I have this one at the farm Shooter. It works very well and came in real handy during the storms this year:

It's not cheap but is worth it IMO.
