Title: Looking at building the 1 1/2 Home 20'x30'

Hello ! I am new here and would like to know if the 1 1/2 Home 20'x30' home could be built using the panel system?

I am assuming you are referring to SIPs or Structural Insulated Panels.  Yes it could.
Are you looking to design and build the panels yourself or turning that over to a SIP manufacture?

The 1 1/2 does use a ledger board that might be a sort of design problem using SIPs but I do not see why it could not be designed around.  Of course John Raabe the owner of this site and Country Plans http://www.countryplans.com/ would be able to give you better insight that I.

Been thinking it mite speed things up to do some of the work in town,then move the panels to the  build site?

Ah, yes. Anything is possible. In part it depends on how well one can plan and then execute the plan. Some of us may be more equal than others on that thought.  ;D

One other member did a similar thing with a smaller structure; 14 x 20
