Title: More Elk Encounters at the National Forest Boundary Fence
Post by: MountainDon on June 21, 2011, 06:52:51 PM
The game trail has been getting a lot of traffic recently. Here's a couple of clips.

#1, a very cautious cow elk. She stood there at the fence for nearly two minutes before deciding to cross over.

#2, three cows and their calves in a hurry to get somewhere.

[cool]  We've been encountering a lot of elk down here in the valley that we normally don't see due to the dry year and (probably) fires.
