Just watched the movie.........a couple of old guys living out their dreams......or something like that.
I'd like to go back to Alaska again........
And one more trip to Hawaii..........
And maybe a trip to London. Or Paris. Tokyo.........not.
Rio.....Yeah!!!!......have a grand daughter there!

Not in the same sense as the movie. Many years ago,I heard someone talking about making a list of 50 things you wanted to accomplish in your life. They should range from things that are very likely, all the way up to real pie-in-the-sky stuff, so that there's always something to aspire to. I never did finish the list (finishing the list is one of the things ON the list) but I'm making better-than-expected headway. Soon, I'll be tackling one of the biggies- building my own house!
I love that movie, but I'll never have the kind of money to do the kind of things they did!
I like the movie alot -- I was afraid it might be too maudlin, but it was good (I am a big Nicholsen fan)
I did make a list some 20 years ago
so far got 2 done
pilot license and own a plane
next is to get up to the farm, off grid and as self sufficient as possible
this one is proving more challenging the the flying bit
There are people (old friends) I would rather see before running off to new places.
Never have seen the movie, but do have a few things I'd like to do. Would like to publish a book. Would like to adopt. Would like to live for years without visiting a grocery store!! :) Want to go visit some old friends in Malaysia and Japan. Want to take my kids to places like the Grand Canyon and the Tetons....
