I haven't shot a longgun for some time; what with the external jaw fitment and the previous surgeries it has been quite long. I can't get a rifle close enough to the right side of my face with the fitment sticking out there in the air. This past weekend I tried shooting left handed and left eyed. No way it seems right to me, not to mention dang awkward. But I found not too much difficulty after putting my mind to it. It even seemed easier shooting left handed with both eyes open and using a scope than shooting right handed and trying to keep both eyes open. I'm right eye dominant and shooting right handed with both eyes open was always a problem.
So, yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks. ;D I even hit the target gong.

Very good Don!
There is almost always a way. It does get interesting sometimes though.
So far I've been lucky. My left side is completely numb so I can't shoot weak hand anymore, but my right is still about 90% OK.
It saddens me to hear of that development peter. All my best wishes to you.
Don
Keep it together guys..... I'm not that far behind....
