As some may know my son plays the banjo d* d*. Last night we attended a Old Tyme music concert at our local Opera House which featured well know musician ( Jake Krack and the Bing Brothers). After it was over we ventured out to Woodrow Mountain along the Williams River to the hunting camp well know as Blacks Camp. It had been raining for about 24 hours and the river crossing was a little high. So it was decided that it would be wiser to leave the vehicles on the road side of the river and cross the Williams by the swing bridge. So musicians and insturments bounced accross the bridge to congregate at the tar paper camp. After about 5 hrs of continued entertainment I decided it was time for my son and myself to head to the house. Others attending had reservations. ;). So on our departure with flashlights in hand the river had raised some 3 feet. Wise move to leave the vehicles on the road side of the river. 8).
Enough rambling on. We had a great time as always. Here is a couple video's of my son, Jake Crack, Danny Arthur and the Bing Borthers. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

Wow, he sure can play that banjo! [cool] Sounds like fun. No problem getting back across that bridge? A video of you guys walking back across it when the water was higher would have been fun!
Wow! The kid is good! But then I'm from Idaho. We really don't know Bill Monroe from Alison Krauss out here! Well maybe we can figure that one out.
Another great video John. I sure wish I was a little closer. I'd love to go to one of those sessions!
I enjoyed it, got any more?
Sassy sorry I was doing good to carry the cooler and light in the rain and fog. I doubt that they would have turned out very well. Here is one last year that will give you some idea.

Here is Blacks Camp that I keep referring to. Pictured are the same musicians but this was last November.

Muldoon I have about 7 from that night but the download was about 1.5 hours each. I'll keep you in mind when he makes a CD. ;D
Peternap maybe one of these days we can cross paths with the music. Be nice to have a decent video instead of what I have been capturing
That's a pretty cool bridge! Thanks, Red :)
