Title: freaky cheap walk in fridge - cheese cave
Post by: paul wheaton on December 30, 2010, 11:32:01 AM
This video features a guy that looooooves cheese.  He has lots and lots of cheese.

He converted a room in his house into a "cheese cave" by tricking an air conditioner into being a refrigeration unit for a walk-in-fridge-like-thing.

For anyone interested, here is the link to the CoolBot thingie:

A Bing search showed some interest from home brew enthusiasts for DIY walk in coolers, the perfect addition to the GRAND Man Cave.

The same guy who developed the CoolBot has also built his own electric tractor, complete with a solar charging station

Neat idea.  I have seen a small cinder block building with a standard wall mount ac unit used as a walk in cooler to store fish feed.
