Next week, probably Tuesday afternoon (10/25) we will be upgrading the forum software to SMF version 2. If all goes as it should there should only be a minor interruption in forum availability. The upgraded version will look a little different but other than that that's all the members should notice.

If you notice something weird, funny or not so funny or simply have a comment or question please add your observations here so the administration team can give the matter a look..

Sorry, we were out there for awhile. It is likely we will have another outage today.

#2
We had some issues with this today.  Everything should be back to the way it was although there may have been a few personal settings, such as whether or not the most recent posts in a topic appear at the top or bottom of the list. I had a report from one member who encountered that. I fixed it for him. Any user can select personal touches like that under their profile. Look & Layout Preferences is the place. There are a few selections a user can make.

We will be getting this upgrade done, one way or another sometimes soon.

Thanks for bearing with us.

For the time being it would be nice if no one made changes to their personal preferences. Maybe an hour or so.

That is exactly what I am talking about.  It was there last night when I left the hotel in LaGrande, Oregon and went to my train.  This morning it is not there, nor the ID!   ???

Let me log out and log back in.  If I can find a log out button
