Title: Spray on Solar
Post by: John Raabe on January 16, 2005, 10:50:53 AM
I added this link to the resource discussion on solar but think the idea is so stimulating that it merits its own topic.

A new nanotechnology product that allows fabrics, paint films and other surfaces to generate electricity at higher efficiencies than are now produced by expensive solar panels.

Apparently there's a second system in the works as well, this one from the EU instead of Canada.

There was a short thread on another list.  I think we're waiting for production.

They'd have to be awfully inexpensive for me to want to have my clothes coated with solar panels.  Not sure I want to have all the wires anyway, but, carpet in the back window of the car  awning,  sure.
