Title: Equipment Values
Post by: 325ABN on May 01, 2010, 06:57:29 AM
I am considering buying my own tractor/loader/backhoe. I currently have my eye on a nice Terramite with only 800 hours on it, the guy want $11500 for it. Now this may be a great deal or could be way over priced, I just don't know! My issue is finding a good value guide such as the Kelly Blue Book but for equipment. I search online but I don't come up with much.

Any ideas?

This might kind of give you an idea.

It is mostly settled between what they want to ask and what you want to pay.  There can be vast differences in reality, even from published lists although lists will give you an idea.

Be sure to inspect it thoroughly - oil quality - no water in it , water if applicable - no oil in it - bushings - bearings - wear items etc.

Might have to go through several but I am sure there will be some comparable pricing.
