EZ Log kits

I'm wondering if anybody has any experience directly or indirectly with EZ Log kits . They ship a pile of pre-cut and milled Lincoln Logs with a major benefit being rapid assembly. I'm wondering what costs might be to bring one of these up to code for a Northern Wisconsin municipality that does enforce code.  I'm also wondering about long term durability.
