Introduction

Being new to the site I figured I should be polite and post an introduction. My name is Brian married 33 year old with two kids. Although the screen name is deceiving I now reside in SC. We are just stating the process of building our small home (2 story universal cottage) plans were ordered earlier this week. I have been in the construction field for about 17 years (majority of it is H.V.A.C.) I look foreword to getting to know the people here and hope to be able to help out where I can.

Welcome to the forum, Brian,  and thanks for offering to share ideas.  We like to trade.

I have been S/E since 1974 welding, some general construction, a bit of electric, a bit of plumbing, steel farm buildings, water well drilling, heavy steel construction, steel erecting and certified welding of earthquake bracing, a bit of equipment operating,  quite a bit of concrete, small amount of commercial aerial photography years back,  and bits and pieces of lots of other stuff.  I get bored easily.

Welcome, Brian.  We're about the same age and have two kids, too, with the third one on the way.  Living in WI and hoping to move back to OK, the sooner the better.  (Not the Sooners... ah, well, never mind.)  I am a domestic CEO married to the guy they write all those engineer jokes about, but he's a keeper.
